Final: Part 1

1.               What I liked about the class was that  we learned about doing the right thing and that because this school is a medical one and college prep that we learned different jobs in the medical field so what we can do when we get older.
2.               What I did not like about the class was that I didn’t learn anything about computers like programs and all the other things.
3.               The only recommendation is to teach more about the programs in the computer.
4.               I did my very best in this class.
5.               I do read my life planning goal book well most of time other times I can’t whether it because I couldn’t finds it or I left it at home and I go somewhere else.
6.               I am committed to be a CTR person because it will hlp me good in life and be happy.
7.               I will always remember how to make my blog.

Student Success Statement

“Of all the choices you will ever make, one choice supersedes all others-the ultimate choice. This one choice will help you to always make correct decisions. This one choice, the ultimate choice, is your keystone to being the best student and person you can possibly be. This one choice will forever affect you for good more than any other choice. THE ULTIMATE CHOICE is:

To be a CTR person-to always CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!!

Reflection: This quote means that we always need to choose the right and out of all the choices that we all make the ultimate one is if we are going to choose the right or we are going to choose the wrong.

“Success is not an accident. Success is actually a choice. Are the habits you have today on par with the dreams you have of tomorrow.”

Alan Stein

Reflection: I think that this quote means that when you fail at school or in life it isn’t an accident and don’t try to make any “excuses” because it was your choice to fail in school or life. Also an example is about Stephen Curry he trained and worked hard on being the best 3 point shooter in NBA history. It was his choice to do that and he did.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”

Thomas Carlyle

Reflection: I think that this quote means that when someone does not have a dream it’s when you don’t know where you’re going there is nothing that is leading you into a direction like if a ship didn’t have a rudder and also we wouldn’t have any purpose to go anywhere if we didn’t have a dream. Also it when you need to create a goal in order to go in a direction and to succeed and live life. If you don't then it just creates no excitement in your life.

Beautiful character
If there is beauty in character,
There will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
There will be peace in the world.

Character Counts
“The Six Pillars of Character”
The six pillars of character are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
Trustworthiness is the character where someone is able to trust you with anything. An example is if they let you borrow a book and then you have to take care of it because they trust you and if you bring it back with pages ripped out they won’t be able to trust you.
Respect is a big characteristic because you need to be respectful of other people and their religion/beliefs, of their items, and them in general.
Responsibility is probably the most serious one. You need to be responsible, and it also involves trustworthiness like with the book you are responsible for that book because the person that let you borrow it trusts you.
Fairness has multiple situations when it is different because you have to come down to an important decision. For example, let’s say you have two cousins Daniel and John who are fighting over some candy now Daniel had already eaten some candy and now wants the rest but with John he didn’t have any candy so then you come to a choice where John gets the candy because it is only   fair.
When you care for someone you need to also be nurturing for what you care for. For example, you care about your parents you can’t be mean to them but then again you care for them you need to also be nice.

If you have citizenship in a country, you have the right to live there, work, vote, and pay taxes and you need to apply yourself to that.

“I would prefer to fail with honor than win by cheating.”

Sophocles

Reflection: This quote by Sophocles means that he would prefer to lose or fail with big honor than to win by cheating in any kind of way. Also, I think that an example of this is to lose in a basketball game trying and with honor then to use steroids and to beat the other team but with cheating and you have to carry all that guilt for the rest of your life to remember that day that you have cheated and won by lying to yourself and to a lot of other people.
