Craniosacral Therapy

Duties and Responsibilities: Craniosacral therapy is a holistic healing practice that uses very light touching to balance the craniosacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium and spinal area.

Education: -Successfully pass all Techniques-level requirements.

-Complete a Diplomat-level essay exam, objective exam and practical/oral exam that tests your ability to understand and apply CST techniques.

-Complete a Preceptorship Program (20 contact hours minimum). This can be one of the following: extern at the Up ledger Clinic (or Up ledger-approved clinic); precept an Advanced class; attend a Clinical Application of SER or Clinical Application of Advanced CST class.

Reflection: I wouldn't like to be a craniosacral because to me it does not seem like an interesting job for me because it involves soothing and patience and I’m  not either of those things.

Yoga Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: As a yoga therapist you would use yoga to help people with physical and emotional issues or specific health problems.

Salary: $36,900

Education: Practice a minimum of 800 hrs. in a basic yoga therapy program, 600 hrs. Contact with clients and traditional classes in biology and human anatomy.

                            

Reflection: I would like to be a Yoga Therapist because it seems as an interesting job. Because it has to deal with calming and soothing people and helping them throughout their lives.

Reflection: This quote means that right now do not throw away what you want the most for what you really want right now. For example if you are training for a championship in football you need to practice and if someone invites you over to party you do not throw away a championship you really want instead train.   

Clinical Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:  A clinical manager is a health and medical services manager. They usually work for doctors’ offices, clinics, and long term care facilities.

Salary: A clinical nurse earns about an average salary of $75,264 per year.

Education: The education requirement to be a clinical nurse is to have a minimum of at least a 4 year bachelor degree in a field of medical services administration.

                                    

Reflection: I would not like to be a clinical manager because it doesn't sound like an interesting career in the medical field. Because you work for a doctor and just fill out forms. 

Chromotherapy or Color Therapy

Duties and Responsibilities: Chromotherapy which is sometimes called color therapy, colorology or cromatherapy, is an alternative medicine method, which is considered pseudoscience.

Salary:  $30-$60 an hour

Education: A bachelor Degree.

Reflection: I would not like to be a color therapist because I do not find it as an interesting career for me.

Chiropractor

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for a chiropractor are to assess a patient's medical condition by reviewing their medical history, listening to the patient's concerns, and performing a physical examination. Also to analyze the patient's posture, spine, and reflexes, and conduct tests, including evaluating a patient's posture and taking x- rays.

Salary: $66,169

Education: The education requirements to be a chiropractor is to have chiropractic degree and a State licence and also 3 years in undergraduate college.

      Reflection: I would like to be a chiropractor because the it seems it would be a very interesting job to have. Because you examine injuries of people and also because we analyze peoples backs, legs, and spines with x-rays which is very interesting.

Police Officer

Duties and Responsibilities: Some of the duties and responsibilities are to protect life and property through the enforcement of laws and responds to calls for police service. Also, conducts preliminary & follow-up criminal and traffic investigations.

Salary:  They get paid $52,162 annually.

Education: There are 4 steps to becoming a police officer the 1^st is to Meet Basic Prerequisites then the 2^nd step is to Complete Undergraduate Education the 3^rd step is to Attend Police Academy. The final step which is the 4^th is to Pass Applicable Examination. 

Reflection: I would like to be a police officer because I like that career and it is interesting. I know that it is not police chases and everything but I just enjoy the thrill .

Reflection: This quote is very similar to the goals you set the more you’ll get and this quote means that the more you dream the farther you get.

Duties and Responsibilities: People who work in this medical career has to use herbal medicine and also use mind and body practices.

Salary: They earn up to $52,000 annually.

Education: 2 academic years, baccalaureate level, certification in medical level

Reflection: I would not like to have this career in the medical field because me myself personally do not find this career in the medical field interesting.

Summary:

I think that the video about goal setting and goal getting is a  good video for all people to watch about when you set goals your are going to get those goals and Mark Hansen said that when you accomplish a goal don’t cross it out instead write victory on the side so you can see what you have accomplished. Also he said that put victory on the side so that when you see that you have accomplished these goals you can give yourself a pat on the back and say Atta boy/girl.

Duties and Responsibilities: Therapy in which cellular material is injected into a patient and to intact living cells.

Salary: The salary for a cellular therapist is $31,000.

Education: The education requirements for cellular therapy is Training workshop and a high school diploma.

Reflection: I would like to be a cellular therapist because I think that it is an interesting career in the medical field and there is not a lot of education requirements to be a cellular therapist.
