Reflection: I think that today in this present time when we do something good or bad that in the future whether in a couple of hours,days,weeks,months,years it will make a difference to something or someone. It could be a bad thing a or a good thing but there will always be a difference. For example you don’t eat healthy then your diagnosed diabetic and then you have kids and then your kids have kids and then they get diabetes it was the difference from when you did wrong back in the day.

Paleontologist

Duties Responsibilities: Paleontologists are scientists who study fossils, the remains of ancient organisms. This work provides sort of an insight into Earth's history, including climate changes, catastrophic events, evolution and geologic composition. Locating and excavating fossils is the most visible aspect of a paleontologist's work, but the identification, research and sharing of findings are all equally important components of the job.

Salary: Paleontologist has a salary annually of $97,000.

Education: They need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Masters in Biology, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Degree Programs in Geoscience and Degree programs in Anthropology.

Reflection: I would like to be a Paleontologist because the career interests me it sort of sparks my interest and I really like dinosaurs whether or not if they were real or if there are still bones out there. That is an interesting job to have. Also, you can also discovery new things to show at museums so it’s a win-win for everyone.

Reflection: I think that this quote by Charles Ketterer means that instead of waiting around and hoping for your future to be great one and have a good life the best way to know that it’s going to actually happen is by you making it happen. If you want your future to be a certain way this quote is saying to go make your life and your future that way  

Bless You

Whenever someone sneezes, you say “Bless you’ or hear someone else say these words.

People say bless you because it’s used to wish a person’s blessings when they sneeze.The practice of blessing someone who sneezes, the term originated from at least AD 77.This saying or expression originated when the Pope in AD 590 as an outbreak of the bubonic plague was reaching Rome. In hopes of fighting off the disease, he ordered unending prayer and parades of chanters through the streets. At the time, sneezing was thought to be an early symptom of the plague. The blessing became a common effort to halt the disease.The term that we use “Bless You” probably originated from back in time with the romans when the disease was breaking out to all people

Video Reflection

What I think about this video is that the woman Rachael Castillo did a very good thing. She found $36,000 in a bag with an identification card (I.D.) and she could have easily just taken the bag home, and throw away the I.D. and keep the money but she didn't. Instead she immediately without wasting anytime she called the police and wanted the money to get back to the 76 year old owner. She did out of the good in her heart because she was raised and taught not to steal or lie.

Reflection: I think that this quote by Otto is that before you do something you have to think in your head if this is a good or bad thing to do and you have to act on what you decide and that if it is the right or wrong choice. Also, you have to see what will happen afterword’s if it really was right or wrong.  

Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for a health information specialist are to help protect the privacy and ensure the accuracy of patients' medical records. They frequently have roles in billing and diagnostic coding, as well.

Salary: Their salary is $37,710 per year for all medical records and health information technician.

Education: Their required education is to have an Associate’s Degree.

Reflection: I would like to be a health information specialist because you have an interesting career with such little requirements for school. Also, you can know many patients and about their medical history which could be a good thing or a bad thing to the patient. It is an interesting career though.

What I think about this story about the little boy named Myles is that it was really touching. He had a dad in the military and he died after Myles was born and then he finds a $20 in a parking lot and goes to spend it. Then he saw a soldier and gives him the money to show a debt for his service. It’s crazy too because he doesn’t have a dad and all he has are his dog tags, his wedding ring, and some pictures.

Reflection: I think that this quote by Alexander Pope is saying that every lies has its consequences whether or not it is a good or a bad lie. So we must act well and not tell bad lies or even good lies because we get consequences.

A person who works as an environmental health specialist may also be called an environmental health or safety inspector, or a health and safety specialist. The main responsibilities of the position are to determine the existence of possible health hazards and to take steps to correct them.

Education: The education requirements to be a environmental health specialist is to have a Bachelor’s Degree.

Reflection: I would not like to be an Environmental Health Specialist because I would not like to be the one to tell a person you can not have your business open because it's a health hazard to people. I rather let another person who actually wants the job to go ahead and do what I won't.

Reflection: I think that this quote means that you should surround yourself with good people instead of the bad ones and if you cannot then you should be alone because it is better than being with the bad people who are not going to be influencing you very well.

Presidents Day

1. Washington's Birthday, also known as Presidents' Day, is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of February. The day honors presidents of the United States, including George Washington, the USA's first president.

2. The purpose of the Presidents Day is so that we can celebrate and honor the Presidents that we’ve had in the past.

3.  Presidents Day is always on the 16 of February.

4.   Although you may not agree with some presidents decisions and you may seem as if the government is doing nothing they still keep our country safe, as an example President Obama does not get as much credit for what he has done for our country these past few years he has been in office I believe for Presidents Day we should look at the good things they done for us.

Reflection: I think that this quote means that the only time when you do something right is when it’s entire. By entire, he means that if the whole situation is right.

CTR Story 

I thought that this story about Christian and Tana was incredible because, i know that people help old ladies walk across the street or help them with their groceries but this was just so amazing. A 15 year old kid that his dad mugged a old woman in her 60's and gave her money was just incredible but the more amazing part was that he wanted to use the money for a ban trip. Tana instead decided to give him back the money so he can go on that band trip. It made me feel that we should all be generous to people we dont even know and that we should make the world a better place than what it is now.

Reflection: What this quote by Count Leo Tolstoy means is that those people who do good in life the ones that never cheat, never smoke, never drink, and never do drugs are the true people that live in this world. 

Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities go beyond what you might expect a vet deals with all sorts of animals. His or her job from cleaning teeth all the way to inspecting the hooves.

Reflection: I would like to be a veterinarian because it is an interesting job and it is a medical job but not dealing with actual humans but animals which is pretty interesting. Also, I would take this job because I like animals and different kinds of species of animals.
