“I am not bound to win, nut I am bound to be true. I must stand right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he does wrong.”

Abraham Lincoln
Reflection: This is a incredible quote by Abraham Lincoln because he is saying that we should stick to a person who does right all the time and stand strong and show that you do right. However, when he does wrong we need to leave him because when he does wrong we will do wrong. For example, when you are in school you hang out with your best friend and you both always choose the right and when you do you get god grades so you always stick by him. When you find out he is choosing the wrong because he’s taking a drug that’s when you have to leave h
Aprils Fools Day
April fool’s Day is on April 1st in the month of April. The purpose of April fool’s Day is uncertain but what is certain is that it was called “All Fool’s Day” because people were considered fools when they didn't know that the New Years was moved from April 1st to January 1st. Some of the Pro’s to this holiday is to have lots and lots laughs and to have so much fun by pranking others without hurting them physically or emotionally and you can always have fun on April fool’s Day. Some of the Con’s to this holiday is that  people can take it too far and actually hurt them physically and emotionally like they accidentally break the other persons arm because they were doing a prank. We have to be careful when we play and when we take it too far.

“Character is higher than intellect.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection: I think what this quote means is that in everyone we have character and with character there is also intellect. With intellect you show your academic ability. Character is more important than that for example there is a student at UCLA and he’s pasting all of his classes an graduates with a PHD but in all of the years he attended to there he was always a negative and depressed person has his character. That’s what this quote means you need to have a great character.

Reflection: I would not like to be a Health Sciences Librarian because the fact that it actually really is interesting in my opinion I just think it is too many requirements to apply for this job educational wise. Also to me the salary for a librarian is good but might as well be a ordinary librarian.

“I trust that my herd work will pay off.”

Tyler Haws

Reflection: I think that this quote by Tyler Haws is that in life, at school, and at church all the hard work that you do will always pay off in the future. For example, studying at school and working hard and getting involved with all the activities and the clubs will definitely pay off when applying for a University or a College. Also, when you train really hard and you work out, eat healthy and stay fit in will benefit you in the future to be a god athlete.

Spring Break

Right now I am feeling very tired and sleepy and I am also cold, but I am very excited for spring break because I look forward to sleeping in and doing stuff that maybe I always do or do things I've never done like go to Disneyland I really want to go because I hear it’s the “happiest place on earth”. Also, I want to get the internet but then again I don’t because it kind of brings me and my dad closer because we have nothing to do and my family talks more to each other but then again we are really bore and we nothing to do but it brings me and my family closer.

In Australia there is a job called mailing and delivery where you manually sort mail each morning. Receiving and sorting mail may involve lifting and handling heavy parcels and trays of mail items. The requirements are very simple you have to be able to walk while pushing a trolley or carrying a backpack containing the mail. Also, you have to be fit and able to lift up to 16 kg of mail on a repetitive basis. The salary for this career is 66,100 Australian dollars per year this is a little bit but it’s a job I would like to have in Australia.

Video Reflection

This video about the story was incredible the fact that the whole football team at Olivet Middle School wanted the special kid to go and make a touch down which even meant for them to slide right before and between the 1 yard lines. Also, when they did that he and his parents were so happy and his parents were like “DID he make a touchdown.”  This was funny because they could not have believe it. It was incredible because Keith wasn't popular and when he was told oh put on the jersey and the padding and when the play had begun he was surrounded by all of the football team players as a human body shield I could not imagine how he must have felt. Also, the team must have felt that they had made Keith’s day, week, and maybe they even might have made his moth by letting him score that touchdown and letting him sit with them during lunch.

“They’re only truly great who are truly good.”
George Chapman

Reflection: I think what this quote means is that the people in the world could be great and could be not great. What George Chapman is saying is that the people who are great are the people who are good. For example if someone finds a $20 in the parking lot and goes into the sore to buy something but in line the person in front of them who is about to pay says “I could have sworn I had $20.” So then if the person asks is this your 20 and they give it the person that is a truly great person. If they hear it and they don’t give them their 20 they are not great.

They play board games, and read to the children (requires 10 hours of individual training). “Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term gain pain but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it.”

 George Mitchell

Reflection: This quote means that when we do something bad in a sport that makes us think that it’s all good but it’s really making you a cheater then it’s not good. We shouldn't cheat from drugs or we shouldn't cheat in general because it is bad and it won’t affect us in a bad way in the short term because it will affect us in the long term pain.

“I won’t cheat.”

Dale Murphy

Reflection: This quote by Dale Murphy means only one thing he, me, she, her, you won’t cheat and by saying that you are telling yourself and others that you are not a cheater and that you never will be. Also, but if you say and promise you will never cheat and yet you cheat you’re not just lying to everybody you are lying to yourself.

What I think of this story with Mitch and his dad is that it is incredible tat he Mitch thinks that the only way to make his dad happy because he had cancer was to win the state finals but when he did win the only reason his dad was happy was because Mitch did it from his heart.
