Duties and Responsibilities: Some
of the duties and responsibilities are to protect life and property through the
enforcement of laws and responds to calls for police service. Also, conducts
preliminary & follow-up criminal and traffic investigations.
Salary: They get paid $52,162 annually.
Education:
There are 4 steps to
becoming a police officer the 1st is to Meet Basic Prerequisites
then the 2nd step is to Complete Undergraduate Education the 3rd
step is to Attend Police Academy. The final step which is the 4th is
to Pass Applicable Examination.
Reflection:
I would like to be a
police officer because I like that career and it is interesting. I know that it
is not police chases and everything but I just enjoy the thrill .
