Paleontologist
Duties
Responsibilities: Paleontologists are scientists who study
fossils, the remains of ancient organisms. This work provides sort of an
insight into Earth's history, including climate changes, catastrophic events,
evolution and geologic composition. Locating and excavating fossils is the most
visible aspect of a paleontologist's work, but the identification, research and
sharing of findings are all equally important components of the job.
Salary: Paleontologist
has a salary annually of $97,000.
Education: They
need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Masters in Biology, Doctor of
Philosophy in Biology, Degree Programs in Geoscience and Degree programs in
Anthropology.

Reflection: I
would like to be a Paleontologist because the career interests me it sort of
sparks my interest and I really like dinosaurs whether or not if they were real
or if there are still bones out there. That is an interesting job to have. Also,
you can also discovery new things to show at museums so it’s a win-win for everyone.
