Student Success Statement
“They’re
only truly great who are truly good.”
George
Chapman
Reflection: I
think what this quote means is that the people in the world could be great and
could be not great. What George Chapman is saying is that the people who are
great are the people who are good. For example if someone finds a $20 in the
parking lot and goes into the sore to buy something but in line the person in
front of them who is about to pay says “I could have sworn I had $20.” So then if
the person asks is this your 20 and they give it the person that is a truly great
person. If they hear it and they don’t give them their 20 they are not great.
