Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities: A licensed practical nurse (LPN) in much of the United States and most Canadian provinces is a nurse who cares for people who are sick, injured, or disabled.

Salary: The salary for a LPN is $41,540 annually.

Education: The education requirements for this career are to have a diploma in practical nursing; certificates available in some areas. Also all licensed practical nurses must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN)

Reflection: I would like to be a licensed practical nurse because it’s like any other nurse job you need to take care of people that have sickness or they are injured. Maybe their injury is that they are disabled. Also, the nurses are there to help them when the patients need something.
