Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of a medical assistant are to do many things the physician you work for asks you to do. For example something that the physician can ask you to do is scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.

Salary: The salary for the medical assistant is $13.30 per hour so that is higher than the minimum wage.

Education: The education requirement for this career is to have a high school diploma or GED. The minimum educational requirement for medical assistants is a high school diploma or equivalency degree. Also, you need to find a doctor who can provide training.

Reflection: I would not like to be a medical assistant because for several little reasons. One of them is because I kind of like to be in charge not taking any directions from someone as my career. Also, I want to help people but I want to do major things not the little things.
